Hosted by Jackie Bernardi
Michael Bernardi, an actor of stage and screen, has a remarkable story of perseverance, good fortune, and financial devastation. Michael opens up about how the incredible miracle he experienced when he landed his dream role on Broadway was shortly followed by an incredible nightmare of financial loss. But it’s how he persevered in the shadow of that loss – making lemonade out of those proverbial lemons – that will inspire you to just keep moving forward.
At eight years old, Michael Bernardi began his career at The World Famous Comedy Store as the youngest stand-up comedian to ever perform on the Main Stage.
Now in his thirties, Michael has recently become the youngest person to ever play Tevye on Broadway after participating in the 2016 revival of Fiddler on the Roof. Between those two events, Michael had behaved in a much more age-appropriate manner.
He received his BFA at SUNY Purchase, attended the MFA School of Dramatic Arts program at USC and has appeared in several TV shows and films such as: Monk, The House Bunny and the Oscar nominated film Marshall starring Chadwick Boseman. He currently splits his time between New York and Los Angeles offering services to actors and writers through his website: www.AuditionMensch.com
